Wister Lake (Google Map) is located two miles south of the town of Wister on US 270.
U.S. Corps of Engineers and Oklahoma State Parks manage campgrounds with full RV hookups and boat ramps. ODWC manages primitive camping sites and two boat ramps throughout on the Wister Wildlife Management Area.

May 16. Elevation is Normal (stable), water temperature 70°F and murky. (USACE Current Lake Level)
Bass, Largemouth Fair on buzz baits, plastic baits, spinnerbaits around brush structure, points, shallows, shorelines, standing timber.
Catfish, Blue Good on chicken liver, cut bait, live shad, shad, sunfish around channels.
Catfish, Flathead on cut bait, goldfish, live shad, shad, sunfish around below the dam, channels, river channel, rocks.
