The eruption has paused. Episode 25 ended at 8:08 PM when fountains stopped erupting from the south vent. Tremor continued for a short while after surface activity stopped, but has now stabilized. Gradual inflationary tilt has resumed. View All Messages.

Lava fountains from both vents are erupting at sustained heights of about 330 ft (100 m), with occasional higher bursts from the north vent, as of 6:30 PM. Over 12 microradians of deflationary tilt have been recorded by summit tiltmeters. View All Messages.

HVO instruments have recorded about 10 microradians of deflationary tilt at Kilauea summit since episode 25 began. Episode 24 had 12 microradians of deflationary tilt before it stopped. View All Messages.
