Prior to 1994, about 18% of first-time fathers used a form of paid leave when their first child was born, compared to 39.9% of new mothers. By 2014 to 2022, there was no significant difference in the usage of paid leave between mothers (49.1%) and fathers (50.1%). 📊 New Business Trends & Outlook Survey data show that expected demand for goods and services in the next 6 months has fallen to 49.1 for the two weeks ending April 20, down 4.5 points from the same time a year ago. Expected total employees fell to 51.0, which is 1.6 points lower than last year. Over the same period, the future delivery time index rose to 57.3, an increase of 5.1 points from last year.
