  • Cyber Maryland just launched a $1M grant to strengthen our cyber workforce and protect our digital infrastructure!   • We're celebrating recovery-friendly workplace The Trend in Leonardtown for our last Friday of National Recovery Month. Founded by entrepreneur, mother, and survivor Allene Hernandez, it's more than a store—it's a place where survivors of domestic abuse find healing and hope.   • Connecting people with careers is a priority worth sharing. MD Labor Assistant Secretary Erin Roth recently spoke with leaders from across the country about workforce programs like EARN Maryland, which stands for Employment Advancement Right Now. EARN Maryland has created $18.16 in economic impact for every $1 invested, helping over 11,000 people get jobs and over 16,000 people build new skills. It's an investment in Marylanders and our state's future.

  • The MD Labor Office of Financial Regulation works to ensure that banks and credit unions operate safely and fairly, so consumers and small businesses can access the services they need to thrive.
