Exciting news for our Ringmer community!

Ringmer Swimming Pool is now open!

After being closed since before the pandemic, a collaborative effort between Lewes District Council, East Sussex County Council, and Wave Active has paved the way for this much-loved facility to return to our community.

A £100,000 investment has been made to fund needed upgrades. With essential pool machinery replaced and preparations well underway, we’re almost ready to welcome swimmers back into the water!

“This news is hugely welcome. Ringmer residents have been incredibly patient.

The funding from Lewes District Council and East Sussex County Council has made the replacement of essential pool machinery possible and that work will now be completed in readiness for when the doors open in May.”

Councillor Johnny Denis, Cabinet Member for Tourism & Leisure at Lewes District Council.
