3. The U.S. Coast Guard has established a Regulated Navigation Area under 33
CFR 165.775 to encompass the waters bound by the coordinates:
A. From 28-32-58.06N/080-33-54.56W
To 28-32-30.1N/080-19-11.4W
To 28-29-28.2N/080-18-08W
To 28-24-52.2N/080-19-11.2W
To 28-25-42.96N/080-34-23.2W, then following the shoreline back to the point
of origin.
B. Mariners are advised that the area encompassed by this zone is closed to
all vessels and persons except as authorized by the Commander, Seventh Coast
Guard District or the Captain of the Port, Jacksonville, FL beginning 45
minutes prior to the scheduled launch window in this notice until reopened by
the Captain of the Port, Jacksonville, FL via broadcast on VHF-FM channel 16
and cancellation of this Broadcast Notice to Mariners message. Detailed
launch information is available on the day of launch by contacting the U.S.
Coast Guard via VHF-FM channel 16 and 81A or through the U.S. Space Force
Launch Information hotline at 1-800-470-7232.
4. The U.S. Coast Guard will enforce the Security Zone as specified in 33 CFR
165.701 beginning 2 hours prior to the scheduled launch window in this notice
until suspended by the Captain of the Port, Jacksonville, FL via broadcast on
VHF-FM channel 16 and cancellation of this Broadcast Notice to Mariners
message.
5. The U.S. Coast Guard is providing this notice to advise mariners of these
hazardous areas identified by U.S. Space Force and/or a commercial space
operation, which may impact navigation interests. Navigation hazards from
rocket launch activities may include free falling debris and/or descending
vehicles or vehicle components under various means of control. Mariners are
urged to avoid waters within rocket flight trajectories/hazard areas during
launch windows as detailed above.
