General Plan Sonoma: Local Community Virtual Visioning Workshops

Do you care about your community? Join a Local Community Visioning Workshop!

Come to one of our upcoming local community virtual visioning workshops to learn about the Sonoma County General Plan Update and help shape the future of your community! These workshops are focused on all the different communities that are the heart of the county. We will be asking you to tell us what you love about your community: What should we support, preserve, or enhance? Conversely, what are the challenges in your community? What needs to change to make it an even better place?

Your ideas will inform a vision statement and guiding principles that will guide the General Plan Update process and create a foundation for the new General Plan. The General Plan guides the County’s decisions on many important topics that affect your daily life, so your participation in the General Plan Update is critical to ensure you have a voice in shaping the future of your community. Both virtual workshops will be in English and Spanish.

The virtual workshops will cover the same content, pick the date and time that work best for you.

Venga a uno de nuestros próximos talleres virtuales sobre la visión de la comunidad para informarse sobre la Actualización del Plan General del Condado de Sonoma y ayudar a dar forma al futuro de su comunidad. Estos talleres se centran en las diferentes comunidades que son el corazón del condado. Le pediremos que nos diga qué es lo que más le gusta de su comunidad: ¿Qué deberíamos apoyar, preservar o mejorar? A lo contrario, ¿cuáles son los problemas de su comunidad? ¿Qué debe cambiar para que sea un lugar aún mejor?

Sus ideas informarán una visión y principios que guiarán el proceso de Actualización del Plan General y crearán una base para el nuevo Plan General. El Plan General guía las decisiones del Condado en muchos temas importantes que afectan su vida diaria, por lo que su participación en la Actualización del Plan General es fundamental para asegurar que usted tiene una voz en la conformación del futuro de su comunidad. Los dos talleres virtuales serán en inglés y español.
